Released 9-15 May, 2013

Hey, I'm back again to bring more new games. Unlike the previous one, this time was weak for great games (indie games). I don't have too many of great games to be shared. Also, one of them are indie too and quite popular. Here is the list

3. Air Dodger by Oleg Kapitonov released May 13, 2013

Price: Free

Yes, as you can see from the title. Air Dodger is a game that you must dodge from all your enemy on the space. You don't have any gun. That's why you need to use your enemy's fire (gun) to re-attack them all. The gameplay mechanic is quite unique. It's similar with Astro Shark gameplay but not really. Basically your enemy will shoot you, and the fire will follow your movement no matter you go. That's why you need to take advantage of that to attack your enemy back. Use their gun to attack them back. Got it?
Since, it's a freemium game, you'll be see so much of upgrades which can be buy via coins. You'll get some coins during the gameplay, but it's far enough to get all the upgrades. You might be love grinding, but I think it'll be a long long time. However, the game give other technic for you to get more items by steal other player's items.. Well.. well I don't know this will be bad or good thing. Alright , just judge this one by yourself. FYI, this game is for iPad only.

2. Tasty Tadpoles by Mark White released May 9, 2013

Price: $0.99

It's probably the most popular indie game for this week. Actually, I don't think I need to write it here, but since it's an indie. I'll put this one here too. What can I say? The game is so fun, the first stage is bit too easy to be finished. Fortunately, start from the second stage until third stage, you'll find the game is so much fun. If you think you're too easy to defeat all the levels (75 levels). Don't worry, there's puzzle mode which limit your tap count to move. So, watch out your steps :). About the graphic, you'll found the game has nice graphics too. It's on 2D but as you can see it has high quality and performance graphic as well as Cut the Rope or Where's my Water graphic. Not the drawing style but the class and the prestige?? engg, seems I hooked too much into the graphic... lol The game is quite cheap, one buck only and don't have any IAP.
Alright, I'm not give this game more compliment again. Just try this game and decide it by yourself.

Graphic and Sound: 4/5
Gameplay: 3.5/5
Game Control: 4/5
Replay Value: 3/5
Overall: 3.63/5

1. el Qubador HD by Eleni Vrochidou released May 14, 2013

Price: Free

It's probably one of most unique puzzle game which I ever played. I don't know if there's might be any other game with similar game mechanic with this one. Please tell me, if there's any information that I missing :). The gameplay is quite unique, you roll the box by swipe the screen, each side of the box has it's own color and you must drop the same color in the box side with the same color token. You also can mix the color too, such as green was the mix of blue and yellow, purple is the mix of red and blue. You get a + score when you step in the right color, and - score if you step it wrong.
You might think the game is easy enough, but it took 3 times for me to clear the first level... What a shame.. lol. You can passed the level if only you completed all 3/ 4 main goals. Unfortunately, some of goals just unclear enough for me. There's no more tutorial or statement that explain how to complete the goals. All you can do is just try and guessing only. For example: do frenzy movement... Hello, what is that? There's no information about that on tutorial. Oh, actually it's a "mode" when you done 3 or 4 combo in a row.
One more, the GameCenter didn't work well for this version (HD one). I hope the developer fix this problem asap.

Ps: This is not a new game, the SD version has been released since December 2012. However, the HD version is quite new, that's why I re-write about it again here.

Graphic and Sound: 3.5/5
Gameplay: 4/5
Game Control: 3.5/5
Replay Value: 3.5/5
Overall: 3.63/5

So, Tasty Tadpoles and el Qubador got the same score;
However, I should choose one, the winner is

Tasty Tadpoles

el Qubador is a great puzzle game, however it's still need some fix in several parts. That's why I choose Tasty Tadpoles as this week's winner
